The location…

Located a ten-minute walk from Bodleian Library, our Courtyard by Marriott Hotel offers your guest comfort, style and safety. If arriving by train, the hotel is only a quick walk through the historical streets and the leafy surroundings of Oxford city centre.

Situated next to Oxford Castle, the hotel offers guests a number of premium bedrooms and suites with Castle views. Guest can relax and unwind in comfortable surroundings as they get ready to take part in your special day.

The Service…

We have a devoted in-house reservations team that can support you and your guests to secure bedrooms when looking for accommodation and other personal requests. From the point of enquiry, we provide guests with a private booking page to enable them to book at their leisure and, enabling them to ensure they can access their special family and friends rate relating to your magical day. To provide an exclusive experience, multiple personalisation features are also available including individual personalised welcome messages. We understand that travel regulations this year could be subject to change and therefore our reservations team are happy to offer groups flexible cancellation policies allowing guests to book with confidence in order to prepare

Courtyard by Marriott offers a stunning roof top terrace which can be used for drinks receptions and celebrations. Our unique roof top terrace offers panoramic views of the historic city centre and provides the perfect space to invite guests to soak up the sunshine and celebrate the occasion with a glass of bubbles and canapes.

Travel with Confidence…

Marriott are committed to providing guests with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, Oxford Courtyard are part of the Marriott Cleanliness Council which is redefining hotels across the UK cleaning and safety standards. In public spaces, the surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and in guest rooms, the hotel has added to its detailed cleaning practices, requiring all surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants. The hotel will also be placing disinfecting wipes in each room for guests’ personal use. These new enhanced cleaning technologies including electrostatic sprayers to sanitize surfaces throughout the hotel.

Regarding social distancing, Oxford Courtyard displays signage in public spaces to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols and can remove or re-arrange furniture to allow more space for distancing. The hotel also has partitions at front desks to provide an extra level of precaution and hand sanitizing stations situated around the hotel with particular focus near the entrances, the front desk, lifts and event spaces.
