sustainability at the bodleian
The Bodleian libraries sits within the Garden, Libraries and Museum division of the University of Oxford whose overarching polies can be found here.
In line with these policies, the Bodleian weddings team aims to work with local suppliers and to be in a position through the teams continuous learning and acquired knowledge to advise wedding couples on how to run their wedding in the most sustainable way possible.
The team attend relevant training courses and each have at least one sustainability objective set as part of the annual review process.
The Bodleian weddings team are actively involved in working with local suppliers and where possible encouraging them to source local produce such as flowers or food. The team value inclusion and diversity across the business and the supply chain.
As we work towards ensuring that everyone can get married at the Bodleian Library, we strive to do so in the most sustainable way possible.
