Upon walking into the Old Schools Quadrangle, you are greeted by glittering stone walls, glorious sunlight and magnificent proportions.
From the breath-taking elegance, stone-carved ceiling and dual-aspect windows of The Divinity School – to the charming carved-woodwork and fan-vaulted ceiling of Convocation House – every corner is adorned with dappled light and dazzling architecture, all located in the historic beating heart of Oxford.

For those planning the perfect day, make the Divinity School your celebratory space!
You have the option to have your ceremony in the Divinity School or Convocation House, followed by a drinks reception in the Old Schools Quadrangle. You’ll then head back into the Divinity School to see the room completely transformed into your glorious evening reception.
We can accommodate 120 guests seated either in college (long benches) or cabaret (round tables) for your wedding reception. Plus, there’s plenty of space for dancing in the evening!

Begin your special day getting wed in Convocation House, basking in its high fan-vaulted ceilings and church-style seating. Then you and your guests can make your way to the Sheldonian Theatre for a drinks reception in style. When the sun goes down, you’ll all cross the Quad to Divinity School where you can impress all your guests with the room’s elegance and grandeur. The finish the evening dancing the night away back in the Sheldonian Theatre!
